The "Xecul Unido Giving a Child a Smile" program was initiated by Juan Sajche, Julio Mazariegos and Francisco Xum. Juan Sajche is a credentialed teacher in San Diego that has been actively involved in Community Service projects since 2005. The aid began in 2005 with taking water, clothes and food to homeless people and immigrants who live in the canyons of San Diego County. Xecul Unido wants to help the poor and when we say poor we are saying the extremely poor in Guatemala. Our dream is to help the those in need. |
